GGP-002 Elethay Bedtime Stories

Todays podcast is a set of Bedtime Stories that those who grew up in an Elethay household would have heard as a youth. These are the types of stories that would have helped create a characters attitude towards the world of Grandilar.

Some years ago I had read some old Dakota stories and they had not made a lost of sense to me at the time. Recently I had a chance to hear the same stories spoken. I realized as I listened that they made perfect sense. Those stories were intended to be heard by an audience. That made me think about our fantasy role-playing worlds. Our characters would have grown up in a spoken world, reading would be for the elite and the historians, life would have been heard.

That makes me look at the tools we have for role-playing and to want to use these podcasts to enhance the feeling of the worlds our characters inhabit. For now, have a good time gaming and enjoy the podcast. If you have any questions or suggestions, drop me an e-mail.
